I freaking love this time of year. As someone that is usually pretty good about being decluttered and efficient, Fall almost feels like a fresher start to me than the New Year. I know, it’s crazy talk but January is so darn depressing to me so it’s hard to get excited about New Year’s Resolutions when the sky is gray and it’s cold out. Growing up, I loved shopping for school supplies, getting my new backpack and all that good stuff. I think the only thing January has on September is the chance for me to get a new calendar. So it’s no wonder that I decided to schedule our first-ever Pop-Up Shop at the end of September. I mean, why should I have all the fun (sharing is caring, right?!).
Our Pop-Up Shop is designed to bring decluttering services to the people in a Genius Bar format. So what the hell does that mean, you might be asking? Well friends, it looks like this! You know how it can be kinda expensive to hire a personal organizer (such as myself) to come into your home? I mean, it’s totally worth it, hands down. But it can be a luxury service even though everyone needs it (even me–yep, hand is up)! Since not as many folks can afford to have Bneato Bar Pro come over, we decided to create a really neat atmosphere where the public comes to us. Similar to a Genius Bar, you signup beforehand and tell us a little bit about what is going on. You can register for email decluttering, paper decluttering or home decluttering (each service lasts around 40 minutes to an hour). And what’s better than the bite-sized commitment of time?? Feeling so much better after your Bneato Bar service. I promise you, you will feel so much better when you can confidently navigate your email inbox, your incoming paperwork and your newly decluttered home.
For most of us, it’s all or nothing (things have to be at perfect or almost perfect conditions for starting a project). “Perfection is the enemy of good” (TGFV: Thank goodness for Voltiare). That’s how we see it over here at Bneato Bar. It doesn’t have to be perfect, it just has to be better. We even have a whole set of beliefs to support our mission (which you can read about here). They’re kinda awesome if I do say so myself but I’ll let you be the judge. Throughout September, we’ll be expanding on our beliefs and inviting you to give our Pop-Up Shop a test run (signups are right here).
